Dishwasher

A dishwashing position at Decent is the perfect first job. You’ll learn communication skills, organization skills and how to keep a clean and tidy work station which is valuable for any kitchen work (and we’d argue any work) moving forward in your life.

A successful dishwasher at Decent will be comfortable interacting with adults in a fast paced environment. Clear communication and ability to wash dishes to a high standard are musts. You’ll need to be comfortable jumping into whatever task is most urgent in the moment, occasionally filling waters/running food/interacting slightly with guests as you bus their tables.

Recommended:

• At least 14 years old

• Weekend availability

• Willingness to work with your team to complete whatever needs to get done

• Positive attitude when you walk in the building that remains throughout the shift

• Ability to read email communications in a timely fashion and respond appropriately
